James Stinson began his professional career 20 years ago. Today, he is a General Counsel of CIMA Energy LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation. They are a full-service crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids marketing company with an elite team that brings over a century of combined oil and gas sales, marketing and trading experience to the marketplace. With a nationwide presence and partnership with Mitsubishi in North America, CIMA has established a well-earned reputation over the past 22 years as one of the most reliable and respected oil and gas mid-market firms in North America. CIMA has a proven track record of delivering expertise, support, reliable service and access to opportunities for producers, royalty owners and energy buyers in the United States and Canada.

Stinson first got his start in 2002 as a senior counsel of wholesale and retail power transactions at Strategic Energy. From there, he went on to Constellation Energy Services, before eventually rising to senior corporate counsel of power and natural gas transactions at Dynegy Inc., his most recent position prior to joining Cima Energy LP. Stinson graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law with a JD.

Katie Ryan is an Attorney, Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Ranger Oil Corporation. She first joined the company in 2014. Ranger Oil Corporation is a pure-play independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil, NGLs, and natural gas, with operations in the Eagle Ford shale in various domestic onshore regions of the United States, with a primary focus in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. Incorporated in 1882, the company was formerly known as Penn Virginia Corporation and changed its name to Ranger Oil Corporation in 2021. As of December 31, 2021, it had total proved reserves of approximately 241 million barrels of oil equivalent; and 860 gross productive wells, as well as leased approximately 172,000 gross acres of leasehold and royalty interests.

Previously, Ryan was an associate at Baker Botts. Ryan earned a JD from the University of Houston Law Center, and an undergraduate degree in psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.

Tropoli graduated from the University of Houston Law Center with a JD, and from The University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in history.
